About Grits Abroad
Grits Abroad (gritsabroad.ca) is a vibrant community of Canadians residing outside Canada, united by a commitment to Liberal values. Our primary goal is to enhance the political participation of the Canadian diaspora. We actively champion systemic reforms to foster a more inclusive Canadian democracy for all citizens, regardless of their location. This includes advocating for fairer access to voting, political donations, and civic engagement. We estimate that approximately 2.9 million Canadians living abroad are eligible to vote, and we work tirelessly to ensure their voices are heard.
